A Hearts and Arrows diamond is precision-cut variation of the traditional 57 faceted round brilliant cut diamond. It is cut to special proportions, named "Super Ideal Cut".

Less than 0.01% of the world's fine diamonds are cut to a perfect Hearts & Arrows optical symmetry precision!

Whereas it takes few hours to polish a standard "Excellent cut" diamond, it takes our artisan polishers at our factory up to three days to cut the "Super Ideal Cut" diamond .
As a result of the extremely complex cut and occurrence of a rare phenomenon, the diamonds exhibit a complete "Hearts & Arrows" pattern. Having years of training and using specialized tooling and cutting techniques, under 100X magnification, we carefully analyze through every stage of production. Diamonds cut in this way are more bright, shiny & valuable than average cut diamonds. |

To see the Hearts and Arrows pattern in a diamond, there is a specially designed light-directing viewer called a Hearts and Arrows scope. This Hearts and Arrows viewer is a simple device that allows you to analyze the physical symmetry, contrast and alignment pattern of 8 symmetrical Arrows in the face-up position of the diamond (called 'crown') and 8 symmetrical Hearts when viewed in the table-down position (called 'pavilion') |

Diamond's Cut Polish & Symmetry are graded by several definitions.
Starting at: Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good & Excellent If we translate the definitions to a brilliance scale & light return, Excellent grade has the highest light return performance. Though, inside the category of Excellent you can find 3 kind of brilliance levels that effects the beauty of the diamond and the value of it. The first one is an Excellent –"Traditional Cut" which has 70-80% light return. The second one is an Excellent – "Ideal Cut" which has 81-90% light return The third one which is the finest, is an Excellent – "Super Ideal Cut" which is a diamond with 100% light return. All three levels under the category of Excellent cut has a high level of brightness and "fire" but the "Super Ideal Cut" diamond is the finest one and has the highest brightness and scintillation |
